This job is for a Physician Extender role. It is good for it for FMGs/MS IVs. All clinical work only.
Full-Time Position. 2-year commitment. Best for a gap year while transitioning to residency.

Physician Extender Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and Preparing Medical Records.
- Seeing Patients and helping with clinical care.
- Seeing follow-ups independently.
- Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork for patients requested by insurance/their work/etc.
- Finishing all clinical notes with accuracy.
Requirements for Physician Extender:
- Seeking a highly motivated undergraduate/grad student/medical student/medical grad with experience in healthcare (medicine/neurology/ortho/PM&R preferred)/NP/PA.
- Must be comfortable with EMR, have the ability to work as a physician extender, must be comfortable doing disability paperwork, comfortable writing work letters, and processing paperwork.
- Prior experience with taking a medical history, scribing encounters efficiently, and completing medical documentation/paperwork is preferred.
- Must be legally allowed to work in NYS (e.g. active work visa, or US citizen, etc)
